Presenting the worst political cartoon of 2012 (as voted on by Something Awful). McCoy uses a grotesque caricature to slander a private citizen for speaking about why it is important for her university’s student health insurance plan to cover birth control, despite their moral objection, for reasons unrelated to sex. Sandra talked about the cost burden of birth control on low-income students and birth control as useful in medical treatment, citing an example of a friend with polycystic ovary syndrome. Such a vicious, personal attack for supporting women’s rights makes this the worst political cartoon of the year.
McCoy later tried to defend himself by saying that the person in the cartoon was never meant to be Sandra Fluke. Come on man.
